Good jacket (NOT a "layer!")

Just got this jacket today and overall I'm please. I don't care for the armpit zippers particularly. The one thing to note is that I bought this jacket as an insulation layer (since it is in the "Men's Waterfowl Layering Clothing" section). It is too bulky for that purpose. I tried it on with just a T-shirt and then put on my Cabelas waterfowl parka system and tried to mount a gun--it was almost impossible (intended to use for late December goose hunting in Minnesota). I have since ordered the 1/4 zip micro fleece version.

In summary, seems well made but is truly a standalone lighter jacket NOT a layer (unless under a gor-tex shell maybe). I will be keeping it for those in between days.
