Excellent value
Date:
I looked for quite awhile for a gravity-feed filter system that didn't have a cost-prohibitive replacement element to deal with. This goes together in no-time with an existing 5 gallon "pickle-pail" bucket. Works well. I can get freshly filtered water while I am out fishing! Who could ask for anything more? I can leave the pickle pail home and just lug the filter off to camp where I re-assemble it with another pail that I leave up there. Easy! Mine also came with the water faucet adapter and a squeeze bag too, even though it was not advertised that way. Great value!

Time saver
Date:
I bought the Sawyer two liter model with gray and blue water bags. I don't see where Cabela's carries this but they should. I used it for 12 days of filtering about 10 gallons a day for a crew of 6 on an Alaskan float trip. I will never pump water again when this fast filter can do the same quantity with gravity. It saves so much time when you have other camp chores to do.
