I used this filter bottle on the Flint river in Michigan which is one of the dirtiest rivers around me and the water came out great, nice and clean didn't taste bad and I didn't get sick nor did the two other people I let use it. However I wouldn't plan on using this if your out camping/ hiking and have a good amount of water filtering that needs to be done, this doesn't quite have the water capacity that one would need for a larger job, such as washing up dishes. But this isn't a bad personal water filter at all.

I recently spent two weeks in the remote central plateau of Haiti. Currently this area is experiencing a Calera epidemic and there was no \u201cClean\u201d water available to drink. This canister worked grate.
