The Hiker Pro filters up to one quart per minute with just 48 strokes. Removable filter protector extends cartridge life. Quick-connect fittings for easy installation and removal of output hoses also allow direct attachment to 1/4" hydration pack drink tubes. Activated-carbon core eliminates unpleasant tastes and odors. Comes with a prefilter, universal bottle adapter and carry bag.

I purchased this filter system for hiking and hunting. I found it to be lightweight, compact and easy to use. I like the quick connect hoses. I could fill 3 1 liter water bladders in less than 5 minutes and didn't need much of a water source to get fresh drinking water. I looked at more expensive models but this does an excellent job for keeping our water bottles & bladders full at a decent price. Maintenance is easy as well as changing filters. Great product. I plan on getting my boys each one for their hunting packs. With all the stuff in the water I wouldn't be without one when I head out in the woods.

I hike alot in the back country either hunting or otherwise, this unit is small, fast and having the option to fill my H2O badder still in my pack while on the go is awesome. Great sturdy product.
