Water purification
Date:
I travel the world extensively for business and puchased my first Katadyn product in 2006. I use the product to filter all water whether purified ,bottled or tap and have yet to have gastric issues due to water. On my recent trip to China the interpreter wanted to know where to purchase this product. He does a lot of hiking and has to boil his water.

So much better than other water treatment methods.
Date:
I bought this product to replace the original Viru-Stat filter in my Exstream water bottle. With this great product, all you have to do is fill the bottle from a nearby water source (creek, pond, or even a tap in places where you question the water quality), screw on the lid with the attached filter, and start drinking. It really is that easy. I always carry this on longer hikes, which really saves on pack weight since I don't have to pack in as much water.
