Mouse

Bass, pike and even large trout will take a swimming mouse if given the opportunity. This deer hair mouse perfectly mimics one of these waterbound rodents as it tries to find solid ground. Use it in lakes around structure where a mouse might fall in the water or skate it close to the banks in rivers. Per each.

Mouse Flies
Date:
I gave this product four stars based mostly on the looks and the construction of the fly. I haven't given it extensive use in the field. I may have used one for 15 minutes during the last year, but the fish were taking other flies. The one I used didn't fall apart.

I am looking forward to using this fly to catch monster browns lurking in the shallows after dark. The hits can be vicious and fast. An attractive looking fly. My kids thought it was a dead mouse.

Great fly, always works, especially in thew early morning or late evening. Try not to make it pop like a popper, but if it isn't working give it a shot. retrieve it slow, and you will see huge bass come up for it.
