#1 Bass Fly ever tied. My consistant go to fly. I dress only the deer hair on the head & fly will work for hours. I use bass taper fly lines and over load the rod by one line size. The 7 wt line will cast the size #6 and an 8 wt will cast the size #2. If you're having trouble use a 6-8 ft leader with a thick butt section. Try the black model for low light conditions.
Have used this fly for years and can not recommend it more.

This "fly" performed like the description said. But this is just not for me, and bass fishing.
I used this on an 8wt and had trouble throwing it. I've been able to get poppers or the same size out where I want, but not this thing.
But, it did dive, and I could see how it would attract fish. Also the built in weed gaurd is a plus.
