17-piece universal cleaning kit comes in a wood toolbox with plenty of room for additional accessories and two sturdy, felt-lined cradles to secure your gun during cleaning. Removable tray organizes additional tools and accessories. Cradles detach and store inside top compartment.

A "Gotta Have" item for Everyone!

This gun cleaning kit is a "must" for everyone, from the occasional hunter to the "every minute I can" hunter. I can't tell you how many of these kits I have purchased over the years as gitfs for my sons, family and friends. This well built box provides a great mount for the gun thats safe and allows the young or occasional hunter to clean, mantain and learn about the firearm and have plenty of room for the tools and basic supplies. Great product! I have several myself.

I was surprised to see such a nicely put together cleaning kit. The brass brushes, tips and rod are very good, and the pretty solid wooden box is great. It reminds me a little of a shoe shine box I had as a kid. It has a carry handle on top that is sturdy. All the cleaning stuff fits inside a nice pull out shelf. When you open the top, there is a lift out shelf and the flip up top is lined in a nice red felt,, so little parts won't get lost. Inside there is room for Hoppes 9 etc., but I would rather keep the fluids in a shoe box so little spills and drips won't mar the wood. There are 2 braces that slip into the top and you can make them 2 different heights to accommodate your rifle/shotgun as you clean. What a delight not to have to rest the butt on the floor or on my pants,,, it seems like it will be sturdy enuf,, we'll see.
The bonus tool set is wonderful,, all different size screwdriver bits ,,, finally I don't have to use the regular screwdrivers that are all chopped up!
Anyway, Cabelas has outdone themselves with this and the quick shipping,,, and I totally recco this kit,, it is nice luxury.

I purchased this along with another cleaning kit, and together they work amazing. I keep everything stored in this, it works great for organizing. The construction isn't that strong, but still pretty sturdy. Works well for holding you gun while cleaning it.
