Anytime you need instant protection from the sun or rain, you need an Instant Shelter from E-Z Up. These shelters set up in seconds without the need for ropes, tools or complicated assembly instructions. The water-resistant fabric top features 150-denier polyester construction with a silver coating to block 98% of the sun’s harmful UV rays. Fabric is fire-retardant. Rust-resistant frame is made of durable white powder-coated 1" steel. Includes frame, top, handy roller bag and stakes. The 10’x10’ offers 64 square feet of shade with a 10’x10’ footprint and 8’x 8’ canopy. The 12’x12’ offers 100 square feet of shade with a 12’x12’ footprint and 9’x9’ canopy. Backed by a two-year manufacturer’s warranty. Imported.

Purchased this unit and a much more expensive unit and during a recent fishing trip to the White Mountains in Arizona, the sierra went up easily and with a little extra bracing from the top 4 corners to the groung it withstood very heavy rain and strong wind. The expensive unit failed, I was unable to get it up to its full open state, it set on the ground next to the sierra in shame. A great item if you use a little extra care.

great shelter for parties

We bought two of these a couple of summers ago for graduation parties and Fourth of July. They are easy to put up even with only two people, although four is faster. I have taken them down by myself in minutes. They are tall enough for the tallest folks and are adjustable in height if you don't need them up so high. There is enough room for six people to sit around during a summer shower, and plenty of room to set up food tables and a bar. Love them!

This is my second one, My first one is six years old and still going strong.
For the folks that have complained about wind or heavy rain damage, Well, These have to be treated just like you would your RV awning.....Would you leave your awning out in a heavey wind storm? I think not.
I have used mine in rain and light to mild wind, I always added a extra hold down strap in the center with a cork screw type peg in the ground and have never had a problem, I Love These Things.
