Lightweight, three-season tents from a company quickly gaining attention for their award-winning innovations. DAC Press-fit™ aluminum pole system features eco-friendly anodizing and lightweight hubs. The frame optimizes interior space and creates a huge vestibule area to free up even more room inside. The vestibule door has storm flaps over the zippers and can be staked out as an awning using hiking poles. Color-coded poles, grommet webbing, tent body clips and buckles ensure easy setup. The durable nylon ripstop fly and polyester ripstop floor both have a 1,500mm waterproof-rated polyurethane coating and taped seams. Extra-large oval door on tent body stows away into mesh pocket when open. Reflective guy lines and stakeouts aid in nighttime visibility. Interior mesh pockets for storage. Imported.

Great Tent

I've owned the 3-person tent for over a year now and I love it. I've used it in storms and cold weather without any issues. It breaths pretty well and does a great job at keeping the weather out. The tent is fairly large, we fit 2 adults and 2 children with some room to spare for gear. I wouldn't use it all the time for a family of 4, but it's fine when you need something smaller and lighter to hike in with a backpack. That said, this can fit pretty easily in a pack and doesn't weigh a lot so you can hike with it if you need something this big. The vestibule is very big. I use it to store our packs and cook in during the rain (which is often in Alaska). When it's sunny you can open it up to allow for more airflow in the tent and it provides a shady spot for a couple chairs. Lastly, this tent is a breeze to set up, even for 1 person. when you first set it up you'll admire the quality of Big Agnes products. I own 2 (soon to be 3) Big Agnes tents, 4 BA sleeping bags, and 4 BA sleeping pads. I'm a BA fan for life.
