Just received vest via mail and was very impressed with the generous cut. Hubby had gotten rather 'portly' over the winter and was unsure if this would fit him. No problem atall. He can even do it up. Plenty of room for items to wear under the vest. Also was impressed with how light the product was. And for the price of the product ... who can complain.

It will add extra warmth if you dress in layers. Very lightweight, packable and comfortable. For the sale price it is worth it, but I would not pay full price.

Super light weight and warm

This is a very light weight vest - great as a top garment (as long as you're not bushwacking, 'cause you'll tear it) or for layering. It feels true to size: I'm on the small side of medium and this vest in size medium fits with just a bit of room. As with all good down gear, this will crush down when packed and you may need to help it loft after unpacking to get best warmth. All in all, a fine product.
