Rugged Dog Boots

Wrap a dog’s paws in professional-grade protection. Rubberized soles (made from recycled tires) and heavy-duty nylon uppers shed thorns, gravel, ice, hot pavement and other paw-unfriendly obstacles. Plus, they grip slick surfaces for slip-free security. Double hook-and-loop attachment straps and foam ankle pads reliably and comfortably secure these boots on the busiest, hardest-working dogs. Per pair.

The best dog boots I have used
Date:
My Brittany has sensitive paws. Her pads wear down easily whether hunting over rocks or sand. For multiple day hunt trips I have to protect her paws or she just can't go the second day. I have tried a couple different brands over the years and these have been the best so far. The double straps hold well and the boots resist wear. I sometimes hunt the Mojave desert or other areas with abrasive lava rock. Sometimes even hunting in sandy locations sand in the boots can be almost as bad going barefoot so my regimine is to use vet wrap from her ankle up her fore leg, then put the boots on ensuring that her toe nails are just touching the front. Then I use duct tape to tape accross the straps to keep them from being pulled open by vegitation. Then I tape around the tops and up her fore leg so sand can't get down into the boot and the boots can't come off. Then I put a couple layers of tape from the sole up across the top. This way the tape takes up some the the wear and the boots last longer. Sand does not get inside to cause irritation, the boots can't come off to be lost (although I lost one in the lava rocks because it shredded the tape), and the vet wrap prevents the tape from sticking to her fur, and the wrap and tape up her fore leg protect her legs from barbed wire and vegetation. It usually takes her 5 minutes to get used to all this then she just runs like normal. With the vet wrap in place its easy to cut it all off at the end of the day. Be sure not to wrap the tape tightly around the leg or it will cut off circulation. Just squeeze it on and let the tape stick.
