closures, and a hook and loop closure attached stabilizer. Sizes:S(2-1/4" to 2-3/4"), M(2-3/4" to 3-1/4"),
L(3-1/4" to 3-3/4"), XL(3-3/4" to 4-1/4").
On the eastern plains of Colorado, there are many hunting areas with burs. Without these dog boots, either you or your dog will have to stop and remove these burrs. These boots work well, and allow your dog to hunt without stopping. In the past, I have used duct tape to more adequately secure the boots to my dog. Yes, the dog loses some fur, but for a day free of burrs in the dogs feet, it is well worth it!
While these boots seem to be extremely well constructed they are too difficult and time-consuming to put on. They need a quick release snap vs the 2 buckles.
I actually purchased these boots for my older lab because he is arthritic and we have hardwood floors that he slips on as he walks. I was tenative weither or not he would wear them. He loves them as they give him stablilty and confidence. Now he doesn't want to take them off.
These dog hunting boots have been redesigned with buckles which do not stay tight and come off the dog while in the field and also slows your hunting dog down.
