Cabela's Preservac Portable Vacuum Sealer

High-quality, value-loaded vacuum sealers lock in freshness and prevent freezer burn for extended food storage life. The Preservac Portable features a 12-volt adapter plug and a rear-mounted carry handle, providing on-the-go vacuum-sealing convenience. It has a 2mm seal wire and draws a 24" vacuum with 100 watts of power for solid, super-strong seals. Soft-touch locking panels keep the bags in position, while a digital display lets you adjust and monitor sealing time. Convenient cord-storage areas. Can accept bags up to 11" wide. Imported.

I purchased this and received it on 4/11/12. I had just came back Florida and had several pounds fresh fish I wanted to freeze. I used the 8"x11" bags from Cabelas and was very pleased with the performance of the sealer. I followed their instructions and froze the portions I wanted to vacuumn seal first, worked great. Follow their instructions and it will work great.

Purchased two of these units, one for my boat and one for my truck and they are GREAT! work just as well in the portable mode as they do plugged into the wall.
Being able to vacuum seal my fish on site (or right on the boat) is so nice!!!
