Snakeproof chaps

The new Whitewater Snakeproof chaps can't compare to the old style Whitewater snakeproof chaps. The new ones have big buckles and straps on the legs instead of snaps and I didn't like the method of attaching them to your belt. Once again straps and buckle . The old style had snaps. This wasn't as criticle as the legs though. We use them for hunting rabbits and other small game and the buckles caught briars and other thick brush. I found a pair of the old style elsewhere so I bought them. The next time I need chaps I'll have to look real hard and probably won't be choosing The Whitewater brand.
