With the introduction of our GORE-TEX Upland Guidewear Series, we set a whole new standard for wet-weather protection and comfort. The revolutionary Infinity™ Field Cloth™ XT shell fabric is soft and supple, yet is extremely durable to resist in-the-field hazards. The GORE-TEX Performance Shell fabric provides the ultimate waterproof, breathable performance. Coat has front bellows pockets that hold 12-ga. shells and feature stay-open flaps. Easy-clean, button-close game pouch. Front slash pockets store gloves and shooting glasses. Handwarmer pockets and three inside pockets. Hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs. Imported.

Cabelas GORE-TEX Upland Coat

I recently wore this coat (brown, not blaze orange) to northern England for driven and walked up shooting. It was quite satisfactory in both style and purpose, fending off the terrible wind, cold and rain coming off the north Atlantic. My only negative comment relates to the size of the shell pockets. They are about an inch narrower than the pockets on shooting coats over there and fast loading is somewhat difficult. Also the little tape that holds the pocket open is a quite cheesy and not consistent with the quality of the rest of the coat. Both of these issues should be corrected on the next generation of this item.

As much as I truely like this coat, there was one major flaw. The zipper is make of plastic. After two coats with broken zippers, I asked for a refund. It is truely to bad that a coat this nice is returned because a brass or metal zipper wasnt installed on it.

To these clothes stick ALL!!! prickles. On bushes, there where there live pheasants, it is impossible to pass. All your jacket and trousers become covered by the stuck prickles. In yours Upland Guidewear it is possible to hunt only on a clearing without plants.

recently recieved my coat and quickly tried it out in the field small game hunting.fit and finish are excellent,it's roomy and warm,blocks the wind,holds up to briars very well....what else can i say?...but another great product from cabela's!!!!
