Better than Skinny Dipper
Date:
Living in Florida I fish a lot of shallow, weedy lakes where weedless soft plastic lures really shine. I have been fishing a Skinny Dipper with pretty good results. The only problem is that the plastic of the Skinny Dipper seems a little hard, making hooksets more difficult. The Grass Pig is made of a softer plastic which allows better hook penetration and a better hookup. You still have to wait a bit to set the hook. The one downside to the softer plastic is that they don't last as long as a Skinny Dipper.
