This Product Delivers
Date:
When the bite gets slow, it\u2019s time to turn to the Gulp pint. This product catches everything. Slow bottom jig for walleyes, drop them around structure for bass, jerking retrieve for hybrids. Light line and small jig heads are the way to go.

Great Smallmouth Bait
Date:
Tubes were the big bait for catching smallmouth in northeast vermont 2 summers ago. Then last summer came around and for some reason they werent biting the tube as good. My dad and i then went to the gulp alive minnows that we've had for 2 years and gave them a shot early summer last year and we havnt used much anything else since. Gulp alive sent is like no other and woudlnt recommend any other bait for catching quantity and quality of smallmouth. For more size i go with the 4 inch and for more numbers i go with the 3 inch

Great Bait!!
Date:
I have moved to British Columbia and saw this bait for the time being used ice fishing. The guy that showed up with it caught 2 Dollies and a rainbow trout in the first 20 minutes he fished. No one was catching anything that day! It interested me enough to buy it and try it myself. It turned my ice fishing season into a good one!!! Caught many rainbows and bull trout. Can't wait to use it in open water this Spring. I've always had good luck with Berkley baits going back to when they first came out with the Power Baits.

Gulp! Alive! Minnows
Date:
Gulp! Alive! Minnows is a great new product from Berkley. It claims to be more effective and last longer than live bait. It's supposed to have movements in the water like a real minnow and have 300% more scent spreading through the water, attracting fish. When I found out about this new bait, I was very excited and really wanted to try it out. I got the bait after a few days. I opened the container and smelled it. It smelled. Strong. That's for sure. I felt the minnows and they were pretty flexible. So far it had lived up to its claims. The next day, I rode my bike to a local pond that had not been restocked in a while. When I got there, I found out that the container had leaked. Not good. Luckily, I had it in a gallon bag. I found out that the container was really bad. I tried a minnow out with a jig head and cast out multiple times. Not a single strike. It probably would have worked better in a lake or ocean, but not there. Next, I tried hooking it up like a bait fish and put on a bobber and weight. Multiple strikes, but no fish. What was great was the fact that the minnow didn't fall apart like live bait. The next day, I tried using a jig head again and I didn't get any strikes. I was frustrated, so I just put on a bobber and threw it out there without re-hooking it. In about 4 minutes, I got a huge catfish on the line. I was amazed. I hadn't caught an actual game fish there in years. But the thing was, I did just as well with live minnows. That was a few days ago, so I haven't been able to test it anymore. But right now, I've come to the conclusion that Gulp! Alive! is just as effective as regular live bait, but it lasts longer. So if you have trouble getting live bait, this stuff is just for you.
