Good for a run to your car.

This jacket held up the occasional rain but when I wore it on a 2 mile hike I was soaked. The large pocket zippers are not sealed and the jacket lets water pour in. It is not breathable fabric, it has a large vent on the back. Now that it is on sale it might be worth it. Just invest in a good gore-tex rainshell like I'm currently looking for.
