Primos® Swingin' Hen Turkey Decoy

  • Moving head adds realism to the decoy
  • Feeding position body puts toms at ease
  • Can be rolled up for transport in a vest
Hunters know that moving decoys are more realistic than still ones, and the slightest breeze puts this Swingin' Hen Decoy's head in motion. The feeding position combined with head movement puts wary toms at ease. Its detachable head decreases the chance of loss or damage during transport. The Swingin' Hen is made from the same material as the popular B-Mobile Strutting Gobbler Decoy and can be rolled or folded up for transport in your vest.

Great Movement
Date:
I bought the swinging hen decoy to go along with my dad's B'mobile decoy and they are a deadly combination. We have killed 2 doubles this year with this combo. The only downfall is you have to be carefull with the hens head. My dad's buddy broke the head of my decoy but i ordered another one yesterday. I think it is the best hen decoy on the market.

Good buy
Date:
Solid, simple decoy. The life-like head motion is really good, and sensitive to a light breeze. I also like the foot step on the Primos stakes for getting into harder ground, and the wing nut attachment on top lets you keep it loose for movement, or lock it down in place.
These come folded up in a box, and will likely have some deformation when you first take it out. It's not big deal to fix - either put it in warm sun for a while, or take a blow dryer to it and it will resume its normal shape.

Great Decoy
Date:
This is a very good decoy. The problem of it coming out of the box deformed can be fixed very easily by using a heat gun to pop the dents right out. Also, when you stake it in the ground, the head will sometimes lean to one side not allowing it to swing as wanted. This can be fixed by simply tilting it forward so that gravity pulls it forward allowing it to swing back and forth as advertised. Overall worth every penny!

POOR DESIGN
Date:
The decoy arived in a crushed condition. I could not get the decoy to unfold nor would the turkey head swing. It looked like the decoy was shot with a load of #4s. Rating forced me to give it at least 1 star...should be 0 star.
