OK at best...
Date:
I bought both the jake and the hen for the spring 2012 season. I didn't have much of a budget for decoys and figured I didn't have much to lose buying these, being that they are so unexpensive.
On opening day, I set out the jake mounting the hen along a tree line. I sat maybe 40 yds up that tree line between the decoys and a roost. When they entered the field, the turkeys basically came right along the tree line towards the decoys/my calling. I shot a tom from the group. It was still probably 50 yds from the decoys when I shot it so I don't know how effective they would have been at a closer distance. It also might have come mostly for my calling, regardless of the decoys.
Since then, I've used the decoys numerous times and they have just been ignored by birds. I've had numerous birds walk within a 100 yds of them - sometimes much closer - and completely ignore them. Also, I've been out 4 days with them and the paint on the head is already getting badly worn out.
In the end, I'm not too sure about these. They don't seem to be either very effective or durable.

Gobblers Can't Resist
Date:
Bought & used for the 1st time in spring 2011. Used the jake twice by itself, once with a hen. The Youth Hunt
gobbler ran to the decoy in full strut, wanting to show his dominance. Bird down. I then took 2 gobblers later in the season as well. Love the black color & realistic
look. Only negative- can be hard to get the stake in the top hole in the dark. I fixed this by putting a screw into the top of the stake, permanently attaching the inside stake to the decoy.

Older Fetherflex
Date:
I own a Hen and Jake Featherflex. I have been using them for about 5 years. They are not flocked as this model is but I thought I would give a review on these experienced birds. They are made from a soft foam, kind of like a soft ensolite pad. They are very light and fold up easily. No problem to fit them both in the back of my vest. I fold them in half to pack. Some of the paint has worn or pealed off but they still work well, had a couple hens hang out with us for 1/2 hour last year. They do start to retain the folded shape after awhile but you can mostly push it out when you set them up. I think part of that is due to me storing them folded in my vest year round. I have seen partners with other decoys but these are the lightest and easiest to transport, highly recommend.
