worked well for the first season. I'm sure it will hold a few more seasons. I have noticed that it's starting to wear though, but considering the call sitting in the living room and everyone just yelping away with it....it's been holding up.

I bought this call to use on rainy days but it has become my primary box call. Turkeys here in Mississippi are loving this call rain or shine. I highly recommend it!

If you own the Primos Lil' Heartbreaker box call like i do, then you are gonna love the Primos Wet Box. The Wet Box produces the same pitch and overall sound that one can get from the Lil Heatbreaker. However the Lil Heartbreaker still triumphs with its smooth, clean yelps and clucks. But in unpredictable weather the Primos Wet Box takes the lead. This low maintenance (no chalk needed), waterproof box call produces high quality sounds at a very good price. The Primos Wet Box also has a clear varnish finish that helps protect the wood from swelling and damage when the call does get wet. Its not good for any wooden call to get wet... even these new "Waterproof" calls. I always put a small camo cloth in a plastic bag to wipe my calls off if they ever do get wet so they can work later. Also, remember that every turkey call will be a little different, the Primos Wet Box is the same way. You may get one that has a little squeak and the next call is flawless or maybe even worthless. its going to happen. My dad and I both bought the Primos Wet Box this year, from different stores. When dunked into a bucket, his call has a slight squeak to it as the start and end of each yelp. Whereas my call didnt have any problems. This just shows that every hunter should know everything about their hunting gear just like they should know the in's and out's of the weapon they are using.
