Thumler's Tumbler Ultra Vibe 10 Tumbler

The 3-quart capacity bowl will hold as many as 125 rifle or 400 pistol cases. It has a 115-volt thermally protected, sealed ball-bearing motor. It vibrates at 3,000 vpm. Includes 3 pounds of corn cob media.

It is quiet. On small cases it does an excellent job; on larger cases, i.e. 30-06, the capacity of the tumbler does not hold enough very many cases. You still have to clean the cases out to make sure there is not any of the media in it. However, it does a better job than any of my previous tumblers and I have ben reloading for thirty years. If you are patient it does an excellent job. If you want to clean more cases, then you should buy a larger tumber.

I purchased this back in lat summer of 2011, after picking up thousands of rocks from the shores of NJ. My kids wanted to make Cape May diamonds. I used it with the polishing compounds (wet) recommended for rocks. The tumbler ran for weeks with almost no downtime except to swap media types. This did a perfect job. I also used it to polish brass bells with the walnut shells and they came out amazing. I would seriously recommend this for almost any polishing job.

Just what I was looking for. Tired of my LOUD orange
tumbler. it was a good tumbler but very noisy.
Bought the Thumler 10 and it is great. About the same
time or a little less for clean brass but the noise is
GREATLY reduced, I now can listen to the radio again..
hehe anyway buy the Thumler forget the others and don't look back.

I haven't had experience using any other tumblers, but from what I have heard about the others being dusty, loud, and prone to failure- I am glad I got the Thumler's. It is quiet, clean and going strong.
