I spent weeks researching electronic and manual scales before deciding on the RCBS 5-0-5 manual scale. It is everything it says it is. I am using a Hornady Lock and Load progressive reloading press and use this scale to set up the powder measure before, during and after the reloading process. It is extremely accurate and holds to ±1/10-grain accuracy. I do not match shoot (yet) so this accuracy is way beyond my everyday need for hunting or target shooting.

The 5-0-5's magnetic dampening is faster than my old economy digital scale. Twice as accurate too!

The Scale does everything it should, very reliable and accurate. The only thing I would change would be the needle. It would be nice if the needle was longer and thinner so that you could easily line it up with the hash mark. Of course this would be a delicate part but an advantage never the less in my opinion. Overall great product.
