With a maximum capacity of 1,500 grains, you can precisely weigh powder, bullets, cases, cartridges and more. Large, easy-to-read LCD shows weight to the nearest ±1/10 grain. Includes two calibration weights, an AC adapter, a 220-volt adapter and a metal powder pan.
I bought this to replace a Pact that went belly up. I can't recommend any electronic as your only scale, but I do like the convenience the electronic units offer. I still use an RCBS 10-10 for my precision work, but I like having a decent quality ac powered scale too. I've had this one a few months now, and I have to say I'm pleased with it. It warms up faster than the Pact, and maintains its zero very well over long loading sessions. The only negative that comes to mind is the display. It's large enough, but it's not angle friendly. Other than this small criticism, it seems to be a winner especially when comparing price and performance.
The Hornady scale I received would NOT calibrate. It also has a poor design in that it has only three legs. The scale all but tips over unless you use two hands to press control buttons. I sent mine back and got the RCBS digital scale. More money, but well worth it!
