Almost a Great Product

Recently installed on my toyota Pickup. The adhesive strip works great....until it gets wet. I live in western Oregon and if you don't know, it rains like a son-of-a-gun most of the time here. The glue strip held for about two days and then began to peel off. I like the design and the rubber looks durable enough but now I have to find a way to more securely mount it to the bed. I wish it came with a metal rienforcement on the edges and sheet metal screws. It seems that any amount of use (dragging something across it) would cause it to peel back if not secured. If you are going to get this product mount with metal strips and screw to bed and tailgate. This should make it able to be removed and replaced as well.

2nd pick-up i using on, this looks to be is a newer design than the first one i bought and it came with adhesive promoter so I could use on my bedliner. Saves me allot of time, thanks!

Good idea gone bad

This item is a good idea, but has many flaws. The first is the fact the adhesive that is supposed to attach to the truckside and tailgate does not stick to all materials including bedliners. Also if you use your truck for hauling, and drag something across the strip you can pull the adhesive loose. I glued the strip down with crazy glue and it works fine.. Needs a better design for the concept
