This seal does what it claims...a full seal of the tailgate sides and bottom. No more fine dust accumulating at the rear of your truck bed after traversing gravel roads. Keeps your gear clean and dry when combined with a cap or bed cover.

I tried several types of sealer that didn't last very long before trying the Cabelas tailgate sealer. It was easy to install and is a much better quality item than the others.

Worked well but turned the bottom piece upside down so the tape was on the top. Learned this after my last one filled with debris and ripped off - turning it over keeps the debris from getting stuck in there but in my application still works well. Also had to use some small pieces to fill in around bed cover. Not perfect but not the seals fault.
