The easy, safe alternative to crawling across tailgates. It flips down with an easy push of your foot for a secure, perfectly positioned step at the corner of the truck bed. When not in use, it folds out of the way under the rear bumper and does not affect ground clearance. Slip-resistant composite step pad. Teflon®-coated aluminum-alloy arm. Installs using existing bolt-on bumper/frame mounting points. Made in USA.

Have not installed the step yet but the build quality is very good. The real reason for the review is to advise you to call Cabelas to confirm/place the order. As of 11/4/11 the application chart for Chevy/GM is in-correct.
