Kits allow the EChip to be attached to any lure or attractor
Duplicates electrical nerve discharge of a wounded baitfish
Scientifically and field-proven
Never needs charging or batteries
Electro-Location is the primary method fish use to determine what and where to strike. The EChip mounted in lures and
bait is scientifically and field-proven to attract more and bigger fish.
The EChip is a small tube that encases a ball and proprietary microchip crystal. The rocking of the ball agitates the
microchip and it gives off a tiny electrical pulse. The EChip duplicates the electrical nerve discharge of a wounded
baitfish. This discharge is detected by predator fish and they will attack. The EChip never needs charging or batteries
and it doesn't wear out. EChip kits allow the EChip to be attached to any lure or attractor. The hardware is included for
mounting on leaders, wires, hooks, spoons, jigs or flat surfaces. The small 1/2" EChips are for small lures and the large
3/4" EChips are for large lures. Each kit has complete instructions.

As alaska fishing guide for salmon and halibut I need to produce fish all the time. I have to be better than most one way that I do this using quality gear. With using an black Box and positive ion control for the downrigger. and now e-chip i know that i can catch more fish and larger fish.
Well, I've tried the e-chip in 8 outings, in all different kinds of settings, temperatures, and configurations. I am sorry to say that there is absolutely no evidence that the device performs from these field test. It under performed the lines that were rigged without e chip on two occasions fishing on the bottom. Non e chip lines out caught the e-chip line 3 to 1. On the top, it failed to produce any bite at all, even when the bite was hot all around us. It also did not produce on the troll. It did not enhance bites or strikes over what I would normally expect without it, and did not make any differrence at all when the bite got slow. Although I will continue the experiments and fish with it through the fall, if I had the chance to get my money back, I would take it. I also found it a little difficult to rig up. From my experience, the empirical data so far tells me this is a useless product, and does not affect the probability of catching.
I believe the Pro Troll EChip is one of the best kept secrets in fishing today. I live in the N.W. and I have found that I hook up more fish than any persons around my boat while using the EChip along with my standard terminal tackle. Weather it's Salmon, Steelhead or Sturgeon, the Pro Troll EChip will call the fish farther than I have ever imagined. Because of it's electronic pulse you are now using all of the fishes senses in order to call them to your bait. Sight, smell, sound and using their latteral lines. I have purposely anchored my boat off of the Hot Hole in the columbia river and with the EChip the fish still came out of the hole to my bait! I believe that this is because it is something that is natural to them. The sound represents a dying baitfish, and an easy meal is always easier to catch, so they come looking for the source. I almost did'nt write this review because I love that this item is still not used by many fishermen and it's always nice to outfish the boats around you. ;) But, I thought of the kids and future fishermen and I hope this little bit of information will start them in a lifelong future of the sport of fishing. Hey Kids! Don't tell Dad but buy one of these, put it on your line and watch your parents and freinds "eat some crow" when you hook-up like never before!!
Not sure they are worth the money. I haven't notices any improvement in my catch rate. The baits I have these on haven't caught any fish. I'll keep trying, but I probably won't purchase any more.
