Gamakatsu snelled single trout egg hook gold

These are absolutely the best snelled hooks you can buy for trout fishing. The 2lb test is not quite as good as snelling your own hooks with premium leader material but the line is strong and invisible enough to fool most trout. The hooks are sharp and high quality. I have been trout fishing for over 50 years and I can honestly say that these hooks can level the playing field for trout fishermen --- use these hooks and you will catch as many trout as even the most skilled fisherman. Technique and bait is obviously important but I feel that the hook and leader quality accounts for most of the success involved in trout fishing. There is simply no better snelled hook on the market at any price.

these hocks are great ... when I'm not fly fishing in my lake , I do a lot of bait fishing with eggs or power bait ...because I frequently have to cut off hocks that are deaply imbedded to release fish , I go through a lot of them ... the #14's are a perfect size , they are sharp enough that they don't require filing and the leader length is perfect ... they save me lots of time and my eyes lots of strain .. this year I will make sure I have a good supply of them ...the only caution is making sure you don't tangle them in the package when trying to get one out ... in which case the benefits of time/eye strain are lost big time ...

Snelled hooks did not have a loop at the other end. This could be a good deal for some applications, but slows you down when you have to tie your own loop in the line in order to use it...
