a great bang for the buck

Probably one of the best values for the money. I have 4- 20's and 2- 30's.bought combos last year. Very smooth to operate. I use the 20's to troll for walleye and the 30's for coho and rainbow . I would highly recommend this product. In fact, I showed my neighbour my combos last season and the next day he drove to Dundee Mich. and bought 4 of his own. we live just south of Windsor in Canada.

Rod is good, reel is junk!

Let me start by saying I love Cabelas. This combo is good only if your looking for a nice cheap trolling rod, but the reel is garbage! A graphite spool to reduce weight? C'mon, it could weigh 5lbs, my rod holder could care less! Never buy a baitcaster with a graphite reel! The "clicker" broke the second day I had it, showing it to my wife. I will use it this spring as Michigan winters dont allow for Feburary trolling. It should work reeling in fish, but casting is out of the question. Spend the extra 10 bucks and get the Diawa line counter! I am just so dissapionted in this reel. Save up and get something else!

Trolling Combo

Have had several of these combo's for a full year now and am very satisfied with them. Great value for the money. Would they endure everyday use salmon fishing, probably not. However they have done a very good job trolling for Walleye. Plan to purchase two more very soon.
