The upper Mississippi Delta has historically be known as the northern most wintering ground for hundreds of thousands of waterfowl, with Mallards being the predominant species. Recent changes in weather patterns and increased rice production have noticeably changed migration patterns, resulting in this outfitters region becoming the heart of the wintering waterfowl population along the Mississippi flyway. Hunts are conducted over flooded grain fields or along the river bottoms out of modern comfortable blinds, pits, or boats Accommodations are a newly remodeled lodge and meals are home cooked. These hunts are limited so early bookings are required.
