U.S. Upland > You are here: Montana Sharptails, Huns and Sage Grouse.
Hunt the vast, open prairies of North Central Montana for some traditional upland bird hunting.
This region of Montana has been known for its great numbers of sharptail grouse, sage
grouse and Hungarian partridge. You will be hunting on several-thousand acres of prairie
and agricultural fields where you can expect to see great numbers of birds with 10-20 flushes
per day. There is no better feeling than breathing the fresh Montana air and hunting
behind well-trained pointing dogs. Our outfitter has been taking upland bird hunters for years
and is one of the best in the business. With his great accommodations and fabulous homecooked
meals, you will surely feel at home and will leave with an experience of a lifetime.
