Zimbabwe Safaris

We have been working with this safari operator since 1994 and they continue to produce some of the most successful and rewarding hunts in all of Africa. Over the years we have booked hundreds of clients with them and many of these clients have been Cabela's employees. To say the least, we know this outfitter very well and have intimate knowledge of the areas they hunt. Their primary hunting concessions are located in northwestern Zimbabwe and include parts of the famous Matetsi Safari Area, as well as several other blocks of excellent hunting territory in this region of the country. Bordering Hwange National Park to the south, Botswana to the west and Kazuma Forest/National Park to the north, this area is home to vast herds of elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard, sable and a variety of plains game species. While the economy and people of Zimbabwe have struggled in recent years, the government hunting concessions here remain safe and secure, representing the very best value for African big game hunting. Matetsi is located approximately one hour's drive from the Victoria Falls airport and your PH will meet you upon arrival, assisting with all customs and immigration formalities, before transferring you on to camp. Air charters are not required to reach these hunting areas, which is another savings that you will realize. All of the camps are very comfortable and feature full bath facilities in all of the rooms, as well as comfortable dining areas and a traditional African fire pit for enjoying "sundowners" and a bit of story telling. The PH's are some of the very best we have ever hunted with and regularly receive great review from our clients. Due to the vast amount of game country and various safari camps available to them, they are able to offer a wide variety of hunting packages and can custom tailor programs to meet your specific interests. Non-hunting guests are always welcome and can either accompany the safari, or just relax and enjoy the tranquility of Africa in camp.
