Cabela's Tripod Plus Window Mount

The patented removable panhead attaches quickly to the included tripod or window mount. Tripod has 20mm aluminum legs with quick-release locks and rubber-tipped feet. It sports a bubble level and geared elevator, and it includes three-way panhead with quick shoe, tripod and window mount.

Earlier people have mentioned that the plastic is cheap. That is not the case. The tripod is excellent and can hold my spotting scope fine. Also you can tighten it down as much as you want and have no worries at all. The only problem with this tripod is that you can't use it standing up, you must be sitting on the ground or in a vehicle. The scope is also very easy to mount on the tripod, can easily get set up in 30 seconds. This product is very good, and would buy it again.

I find the tripod is ok for the price. I use it with a light weight spotting scope, and is adiquate for my uses. The head and shoe are plastic so if you're wanting a mount to hold a heavy scope or for rugged usage you might look at a better mount.

Cabela's tripod with window mount is exactly what i was looking for in one product. I am very particular in the hunting products that i purchase. I am looking for quality, ease of use, adaptability, strength, versatility, and product must withstand any type hard use or weather. This tripod meets all of this and more. The bonus part of the product was it is a tripod and a window mount combined, which makes it very versatile for use as a spotting scope stand on the ground, is backpackable, converts to a window mount for use in a pickup truck (where legal), and useable at the bench. Thanks for a outstanding product.

I have put a Bushnell Legend 20-60x80 Spotting Scope on it and set it on the shooting bench, so far it didn't tip and working as expected, for that money it is not bad at all.
