The Outfitter Series Window Mount has a two-way fluid pan head making it the perfect match for your spotting scope. You will be amazed at how smooth this mount pans the first time you scan through your scope. The long handle allows you to easily swivel the scope 360° and tilt it 180°. A removable quick shoe, fixed with a 1/4" camera screw, lets you remove or attach your spotting scope on the mount with ease. Adjustable center or gravity. Ergonomic double safety lock. Bubble level.

One of the other reviewers indicated that this would not work with a Swarovski 20-60x80 spotting scope. I tried it anyway and it worked fine. It is certainly not as stable as a full size tripod, but I have used several window mounts in the past, and this one is certainly the best I have tried. I would buy it again.

Doesn't Fit Spotting Scope

Although the picture shows the mount supporting a Swarovski spotting scope, I can tell you that the screw is way too small and won't fit my Swarovski 20-60x80 scope. The mount seems well made, but it is useless if it doesn't fit.

Great product!! Definitely worth the extra $20 or so. The head pivots with ease and the level is a nice feature. I highly reccomend this product.

I believe this window mount is a sister to the Cabela's Vanguard Alta tripod which is a very good product. The shoes are interchangeable and the quality craftsmanship is apparent in both. Spend the extra money and get the Outfitter Series Window Mount, its smooth, well built and works great.
