Purchased this mount to use with my Redfield Spotting Scope on my Mule deer hunt last fall in Eastern Washiungton. I found the shoulder mount to be a great asset in spotting game on all powers of the scope with the minimum of wasted time in aquiring subject matter at all ranges under most coditions.
Excellent peice of equipment and yes I would highly recomend to a friend.

over 40 power i cant hold it stedy enough, but great for hiking, one problem i had was a person called the park rangers on me for carrying a gun, and it was my scope.

It is great. I saw one in use 3 years ago & had to get one of my own. It is very handy to use & carry, & it is very steady even on high power.
