Timney Trigger

Timney Triggers are fully adjustable for pull weight. (2 to 4 lbs. on Sportsman; up to 3-1/2 lbs. on all others.) All adjustments are secured with locknuts. Sportsman fits most bolt-action rifles built on Mauser, Springfield or Enfield actions. Featherweight Deluxe is suitable for bolt-action rifles with Mauser and Springfield actions, as well as the Husqvarna and Mark X. Features a lightweight alloy housing. Triggers are for right-hand guns, except Winchester M70 and Old Model Ruger 77.

This trigger is better than advertised. It did require fitting to my Ruger M77 but the technical task was worth the effort. Now my new trigger does not have any creep and is always a complete suprise when it breaks. My Ruger with its new 3.5# trigger pull reduced its group size by half. I do recommend that, if you do not have some gunsmith skills, that you have the trigger install by a gunsmith for your own safety. Either way this triggger is well worth the money for it outstanding results.

Easy to install, works perfectly in an AR-15

I installed this in a new Barrett REC7 AR-15. The stock trigger was a bit gritty, and had a 6.75 pound pull, with noticeable creep.
The Timney was a 15 minute install, not difficult at all even for me, a layman. Immediately, I noticed the difference. It was a light pull (3 pounds) and crisp and clean, no creep or grit.
The install did not require any tricks or skill. I needed a flat head screwdriver and the included allen wrench--that's all.
I highly recommend this if you are not a gunsmith, and want to improve your accuracy and enjoyment. This trigger is not expensive, and gives results all out of proportion to it's cost.

A crazy amount of material needs removed for fitting to Ruger MKII. Be patient. It did result in a better trigger than factory though. I think a patient hand on the factory trigger could get the same result though. Just need a good stone & practice.
