All the comfort, safety and adjustability you’ve come to expect from Hunter Safety System products in an extremely lightweight, easy-to-use harness. It comes with HSS Lineman’s Climbing Strap, saving you $25 over buying one separately. Loop adjustments make it easy to fit over early-season or bulky cold-weather clothing with no dangling straps. Saddle-style leg strap offers added safety in the event of a fall and more comfort while in the stand. Quiet, rubber-coated leg-strap buckles are stronger and smaller than previous styles. Padded waist, shoulder and back straps. Compatible with all Hunter Safety System accessories. Tested to TMA Standards.

I bought and have used other harnesses and this is the best. I bought one of the competetors which was appealing to the eye but hated it. I love that it has straps on the back of the legs straps. This enables the leg straps to stay up on your leg at all times. The competetors leg strap slid down my leg while stepping over a gate. I fell. This harness fits well under and over clothes. Highly recomend it!!

I purchased this for my son as I have the pro hunter vest.
He loves it and I am at ease with him in a stand by himself knowing he is wearing this harness. It does fit true to size and is so light and cool for early season. I will be investing in one for myself, its so much more simple and light compared the vest system.

I recently decided to replace my safety harness so i ordered just about every one cabelas sales to see the differences and select a harness. I am making reviews so hopefully no one else has to do the same thing. I will list the negatives and positives of each harness. Feel free to check out my other reviews when shopping for a harness this season.
positives. Tangle free . buckles are coated with rubber for noise reduction. Light weight
Negatives. Very plain. no Bino straps. Would be excited to get in the box with a purchase of a treestand. For a couple dollars more you could have the muddy which has the bino strap . Or the upgraded model of this harness which is nicer also with the bino straps.
Overall. This harness is has no bells or whistles. Its just function at a low price.

I ordered this harness after many years of using the standard harnesses which are many times included with a stand purchase.
I found this harness to be of high quality and very easy to use. The buckles are well made and are fairly silent when compared to metal alone. Wear and adjustment were easy on and off. No tangles.
I am 5-10 and 175lbs. I have a 42 chest and 32 waist. The L/XL barely fits my waist as I have to adjust it completely tight which is why I am giving 4 stars...in that it is at its limit of perhaps safe wear when not wearing heavy weight mid to late season garments.
5 stars otherwise and very happy with the purchase.
