good stand
Date:
after ready the other reviews i wasnt woried about the seat i have 2 other stands that use this type of seat the trick to it is to lace it like you would ur shoes but only do half of it at a time and it help to have an extera set of hand but you can do it buy ur self,,,do half then hold both ends and pull tight from the first part and work it to your hand then hold tight and thred the rest of the loops and repeat then tie it off tight,,,,the only bad thing i found and i found it out the hard way,was with this seat your best bet is to leave the seat assembly off till you get it straped to the tree, i found out the hard way , i got it up and tied off ,got the top tree claw straped and couldnt reach around the tree to atach the bottom ratchet strap so had to go back to the house and get a rench then go back to the stand and remove the seat assembly and lower it to the ground install the lower strap pull the seat assembly back up and reinstall, that and the instrcsions being so sorry { which is nothing new for big game tree stands} is why i only gave it 3 stars, i have 7 of ther tree stand and the picture on the box or on the net are more helpfull then ther ins they send with them but after u get them up and get to hunt out of them youll love them.

Great stand but lousy seat
Date:
This is the third Big Game stand I have owned. I really like all of them because they are sturdy, easy to assemble and get up against the tree, and they are very roomy and comfortable to hunt out of. The seat design on the Infinity however is absolute garbage. Trying to lace bungy cord on the underside and get it tight enough that you do not wind up sitting on the rotation hub is impossible. I contacted the manufacturer to see if there was another option for the seat and there is not so I made my own from plywood. I love the stand but hate the seat.

excellent tree stand
Date:
I bought this tree stand 2 years ago. and love it! It was easy to assemble(including the seat) and easy to set up. The "Triumph" blind kit fits it perfectly, making me invisible to the deer. It is absolutly the best tree stand I have EVER hunted out of. Oh by the way, I killed a buck out of it both years.

Instructions are bad, seat is almost worse.
Date:
This is an okay ladder stand, but if you buy one, here's some advice you may find helpful:
First, you're going to get frustrated when you have to measure every bolt to determine it's usage. Do that first, though, and NOTE** Of the QTY. 8 1/4" x 2-1/4" Hex bolts (pg. 46, parts list), FOUR of them are slightly longer than the other 4. But only slightly. Say an 1/8' of an inch or so, just enough to confuse you. When it calls for their use, it doesn't matter if you use the longer or shorter bolt, however.
Second, the instructions for attaching their "NEW FLEX CORE TECHNOLOGY" seat are absolutely useless. Almost as useless as the seat itself. Here's the exact quote: "Step 12: At this time the seat cushion should be threaded and tightened". The seat is a piece of cordura with a looooong bungee cord you're supposed to lace up to the seat support bars. There are NO illustrations or instructions telling you HOW to lace it up, however.
I threw the seat up on a shelf in my shop, and used the bungee to tie down the stand in my trailer to take it to the woods. Unless you think sitting on a rotate-able steel shaft all day is fun, I'd recommend you do the same. The seat itself is useless.
Instead, I cut a piece of 3/4" plywood to fit the seat braces, slapped 3 coats of fast-drying polyurethane on it, then drilled and countersunk it to the braces with carriage bolts and lock nuts. I'll just carry a cushion to the stand come season.
Overall, the stand will of course serve its purpose as a tree stand to hunt from, but don't be deceived into thinking it's made by a bunch of good 'ol boys who understand hunters. It's cranked out as one of at least 18 other models, ALL of which are covered in the instruction book. Sort of.
