Good for the Price
Date:
This is a decent stand and step combo for the money. It does require assembly but it is easy to complete. The stagger steps are easy to use and I had to steps and stand hung in less than 20 minutes. The platform does have a little flex to it and the backpack straps do leave something to be desired. Overall this is a good, inexpensive stand.

Big Game Lite Stand
Date:
I have other Big Game tree stands so I was prepared for the fact that it would have to be assembled. Getting past that it is a great stand for the price just like my other Big Game Ladder stands. I am afraid of heights so 15 feet is about my limit and I feel more than safe in this stand even though some may say the construction is flimsy.
I would recommend that you use an additional ratchet strap as the strap provided to hold the stand on the tree does not get tight enough. I would give it 5 stars if it came with a ratchet strap like the ladder stands do.
Great stand for the money especially if your not on private land. And the stagger steps are great!

Works, But
Date:
Stand combo is good, but you have to assemble the stand. In my opinion that is annoying most stands come mostly assembled, this one is in a bunch of peices. Once assembled the combo works well its light and convient to move through the woods and if needed can move to another location easily. The backpack straps come in handy for this. The lader strap on steps are really nice and quick to set up. The seat for the tree stand does not provide alot of cushion so hours in a stand can quickly become uncomfterbal even for a 180 pound man. I would suggest buying another cushion. Overall not a bad begginer stand, and if it gets stolen atleast it was only 100 for the combo.

not a bad deal
Date:
I bought this stand as my secondary stand. I have a decent hike in to the tree instead of taking my summit climber stand i wanted to leave this in place for a few weeks. I was impressed with how it packed together and how lite it is to carry on back with the supplied shoulder straps. The install was simple , and fast . I did purchase more steps to get higher than supplied steps. I felt comfortable in this stand from sunup till sundown . For my purpose of use , it worked for me. Its basic , for the money not bad deal.
