This stand is great. Purchased 3 of them for myself and two teenage boys. This stand can be set up by one person if need be. Just use the straps to steady the stand before climbing it to ratchet it down. The narrow ladder may not be acceptable to some folks but the smaller profile makes it less noticeable. Since we primarily bow hunt, we didn't install the gun rest. Stand was rock solid once installed and we sat in all three stands numerous days during the season. Can't beat the price for this quality stand.

I do alot of deer hunting. which means i have to use quite a few treestands and quite a few different locations. We saw this treestand listed in a cabelas magazine and decided to try this stand out this year because of the amazing price. I liked the treestand because its pretty compact, and its also pretty high for a ladder stand in my opinion.
I set one up in a really thick spot for bow season and it worked great. The ladder is a little small, but it is solid as a rock. I also noticed, that when racheted into the tree properly, the stand doesnt wobble at all. The seat is pretty comfy.
Would have rated it a 5, but my dad didnt like the ladder being so narrow, however, it works fine for me. saw plenty of deer out of it during bow season.

The ladder is too narrow and very uncomfortable to climb. The shooting rail is too short to raise, you to sit down and lower the rail over your head. Save your money, and buy a stand with a wider base.

This tree stand is awesome for the money. I added one more ratchet strap and what a great product. This stand is light and easy to walk with. I can install easily by myself. I just looked on the Cabelas site to see if it was still on sale as I am going to buy another one. Recommend highly to anyone as a great ,safe, and affordable tree stand. Very Happy in New Hampshire!!
