This saw is designed to work like other folding saws, only better. Made of premium high-carbon steel, Hooyman’s MegaBite™ blade features a special four-edge tooth design that cuts better than any folding saw you’ve ever used. Attach it to the extension handle, and it turns into an extendable saw. Each section of the telescopic extension arm locks down individually, creating an incredibly sturdy extended saw. The arms are constructed of aircraft-grade aluminum in a super-strong I-beam configuration. It’s lightweight, sturdy, strong and eliminates the downward flex you get with traditional pole saws. A replacement blade is also available.

Best Hunting Saw Made!!!

I have owned both saws they make for about two years now and I couldn't be more happy with them. I first bought the five foot version and liked it so much I quickly bought the longer one. The blade on the saw cuts better than anything I have ever used and the extension is much more solid than the old pole saw I was using. One thing I will say though is take time to read the directions it gives you good tips on how to properly use the saw. I found out that less pressure on the blade actually made it cut better. Highly recommend this product.

Saw is a great and cuts quickly, expandable handle is built cheep. For that price you should get something other than plastic catches. One trip and I have to duct tape it to keep the handle extended.

Great Saw!

I purchased a 5 ft. model and couldn't be more pleased with the product. I see that some reviews complain about the little nubbie things on the handle breaking off. I haven't had that problem, but if I did, so what. The saw fits easily in my back pack and I don't worry about the connecting to the handle issue.

compact for a long walk

Just got it and took it for a long walk to my lockon and it is much better than carrying around a long tree trimmer. Folds up nice and compact.
