Pure Junk !
Date:
I live and hunt in Western Washington State, we know rain here. This poorly designed umbrella leaked like a pig from the center hub, a light wind caused two of the arms to bend. A half mile away I have another umbrella from BUCKWING set up and it is great! No leaks, no wind issues. I recommend the gorilla to others though, maybe if they are wet and cold they will go home and I will see more deer.

Excellent
Date:
This umbrella is lightweight, easy to install, camo, and covers a much larger area than you'd believe. The straps that tie around the tree hold it securely in place. I've used mine for 3 hunting seasons in a row in upstate New York and it has yet to let me down. Mine has survived 40 mph winds. It sheds heavy snow and rain if you keep it close to your head, and even radiates some of the heat that rises from your body back to you. If it doesn't work for you, you're using it wrong. This thing has kept me warm and dry for 3 years and acts as a huge visor to block the sun, increasing your sight, when the weather is nicer. It's worth every penny and I highly recommend you trying one for yourself.

gorilla umbrella
Date:
the mounting pole that screws into the tree is way too flimsy any wind at all and this umbrella blows and moves way too much which spooks any and all game around you cheap would like to see them use a quarter inch thick mounting bracket
