I was a little hesitant on these at first. but after a week long camping trip through Wyoming, I am a believer! These things are honestly good enough to eat at home. Sounds weird, but trust me, they are really good. Just add boiling water, and you are set. eat right out of the bag, no cleaning, no hassle of cooking. Even if you went through all the trouble of cooking up a full meal in camp, it still probably wouldn't compare in taste to these babies. Here is a little tip to make it even a little more hearty. add some instant potatoes in before you add the water. You'll go to sleep with a nice full belly, trust me. One bag (that serves two) is good for one serving really. My top picks, chili mac with beef, spaghetti with meat sauce, lasagna, and the beef stroganof. Amazing product.
I found the beef stew meal to be very good. Filling and tasty. I did learn to follow the instructions and allow the full 8-9 minutes for it to rehydrate. Even a couple minutes short leaves the beef tough. Will definitely use again.
