Lewis N. Clark® Status Changing Lock - 3 Dial

  • Know if your lock has been opened
  • Status light changes color if lock opens
  • 3-dial resettable combination
  • Transportation Security Administration approved
  • Airport security opens it without damaging lock
  • No more cut locks by airport screeners
If you travel on a regular basis and want to know if the Transportation Security Administration or some other security agency has gone through your luggage, get this three-dial, resettable TSA30 Status Changing Combination Lock. You'll know positively if your lock has been opened, because it has a unique status light that will notify you by changing from green to red. This device is even accepted and recognized by the TSA. Airport security in the United States uses the Travel Sentry™ system to recognize baggage they may easily open without damaging locks. Best of all, you won't have to worry about cut locks again either, because the TSA screeners who operate the Travel Sentry system use a set of codes and tools that open locks without damaging them. In fact, the tools cannot be removed from the lock until it has been re-secured.

No Surprises
Date:
There is no doubt if your bags have been opened by TSA Green means yes. Used this on 4 flights already and with 3 bags I always know first where they have been.

Nice, but not tough enough for the TSA
Date:
These locks made it from California to Texas, but one got broken off and the other nearly bent off on the way back from Texas to California.
They work as advertised, very cool green/red sensor, but they aren't tough enough to survive a baggage handler's treatment without getting bent up and, in the case of one of them, literally falling off. I imagine they would come right off with a hammer blow too.
