Add traction to your trailer, the bow of your boat or anywhere else you need secure footing. The diamond-pattern rubber gives added grip wet or dry and holds up to the worst punishment for years of reliable use. 18" x 30" sheet with adhesive backing. Cut to fit.
I had some carpet go bad up at the front where the trolling motor is. I cut some of this matting to go there and it worked great. I just used some screws to hold it down.
I love the matting, it looks good, is non-skid, dresses up the trailer and is easy to work with. But!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as everybody else says the glue will not hold when it gets wet. Floated off when the trailer went in the water. I reinstalied it with a glue I got from the big box store. What glue to use? Big question??????????????? This stuff seems to be expensive but Cabelas appears to be the only easy source. I am going to buy some more to replace carpeting on my trailer.
I bought the self adhesive rubber mat looking for a quick and easy way to make a few areas no skid on my boat deck. I followed the directions to the letter, but the mat did not stick at all. I suspect that the adhesive pulled off with the backing. The mat itself is GOOD, but I would not buy another piece of it in this form. I'd rather find a lower price option because I had to go find another adhesive to get it to hold anyway.
