Fisherman's Tide Clock

  • Displays high and low tides each day
  • Also displays half tide times
  • 5-1/4" round brass frame for a nautical look
Most anglers agree fish bite better two hours before and two hours after a high tide. This clock’s cycle is set for semidiurnal tides: two high tides and two low tides per day. It displays time to high and low tides, as well as to the ebbing and flooding half tides. A gradation around the scale indicates best fishing times. It also has a brass lacquered case. The tide clock's cycle is geared to Atlantic Coast tides. Requires 1 AA battery (not included).

EAST COAST TIDE CLOCK

Relatively nice product (slightly overpriced compaired to quality). Buyer should realize that NO tide clock is accurate on the West Coast of the U.S. due to the presence of "mixed tides" rather than diurnal or semi-diurnal tides as found on the East Coast. Returned product after discovering accuracy issue, but if you are a fisherman on the East Coast, not a bad product. Yes, would recommend to an East Coast fisherman or if accuracy is not a requirement. Makes for a good conversaton piece.
