1842 Springfield Musket

From 1856 to 1859, approximately 14,000 1842 Springfield Smoothbore Muskets were converted to .69-cal. Rifle Muskets. Like the pre-Civil War originals, these feature three-land/three-groove rifling, a machined-steel 900-yard rear sight and an oil-finish walnut stock. All stamps and proof marks match the originals from Harper’s Ferry and Springfield Armories.
