Keep in mind, I don't know much about archery and my son and I are just getting started. I shoot a recurve bow and my son a youth compound. I had tried a couple of other products to protect my fingers and I had a real hard time shooting with them. The others were uncomfortable, and I didn't really feel that I could feel what I was doing. Because I shoot a recurve, I was told not to use one of the wrist/clip mechanisms. I bought this and tried it and love it. I can still feel what I am doing, it is comfortable, and I am able to shoot for an hour or more. I had my son try it with his compound bow and it worked for him as well. For the price, I think it is a great item.
I like these tabs and have used them for many years. The only problem with them that I have found is that the felt in the pinch free portion tends to unbond from the leather wings on the tab. When this happens I either glue it back together or sew it.
